This baby wrap carrier is handmade deliberately and precisely. The elastic baby wrap sling is made of high-quality stretchy cotton jersey and combined with stunning African prints, that I had bought in Ghana. AfriKatja baby wrap carriers are inspired by my deep interactions with many mothers in different societies within Africa, but especially among the Dagomba of Northern Ghana. The wrap is 216" long and 20" wide (5.5 m long; 50 cm wide). The middle part (20" x 20" / 50 x 50 cm) is made from non-stretch African fabric. It gives better support and fixes the baby's position without slippering out of the sling. The endings of the sling are narrowed and cut in a shape of an elipse so it is much easier to knot them together. It comes with an elastic trim so you can quickly fold it with a trim and put it in a bag. Machine washable at 40°C.
