100% hand-made Tunisian chechia The traditional chechia is made of combed wool knitted by the women who make the kabbous hats. These are sent to fulling: they are wetted with hot water and soap and trampled underfoot by men in order to soak them, to such an extent that the stitches of the knitting almost disappear. Then comes the treatment of the thistle, which is used for carding or combing the cap, in order to transform the felt into down velvet. However, more and more often the thistle is replaced by a wire brush. It is at this stage of manufacture that the fez is tinted with its famous vermilion red color although we now find more varied colors.

Chechia tunisienne 100% fait-main

At ANKA, we do not believe in the myth of predefined sizes. Each body is different and deserves an outfit just as unique. Therefore, to use this guide, we recommend using your measurements in inches (as explained below) rather than the "4 to 22" sizes.
From there you can select the corresponding international size for your order, and each seller will then be able to make sure to send the PERFECT fit for YOU!
