This Ghana Series djembe was carved from African Twenaboa. Twenaboa is a medium density timber, lighter than hardwoods. Super portable, great bass and range.
Cow skins are typically a lot thicker than goat, offering rich melodic sounds. Cranked tightly, they can really scream! Suited to experienced players with tougher hands and well-developed technique. We take care to find the best hide for the shell to maximise its dynamic range.

What I ordered versus what I got. Sigh. I specifically told the designer NO gold when he informed me they did not have that particular fabric advertised, however its gold embroidery across the bust.
They communicated fast via WhatsApp but clearly did not listen to what I said.
They sew well but I absolutely can not wear this to my reception. I got what I paid for.

Looks exactly like the picture. The color is more maroon than purple but it looks great. The Fitz is very customized a hair small but still fits. I love the fit of the pants.
