The Masai are semi-nomadic people located in Kenya and northern Tanzania. Masai resides near the game parks of East Africa and they are among the most well-known of the African ethnic groups. They speak Maa, a local dialect, Swahili and English.
Red is the most favored color of the Masai men. I created this abstract art piece to share the beautiful story of the Masai people of East Africa.

The artwork is raw edge, machine appliqued, and machine quilted with Kente prints and hand-dyed Batik as the fabric of choice.
This art piece was a 3rd place winner in the 2015 'Art Quilt category' at Northwest Quilters Guild Expo held at the Portland Expo center.

Measure around the neck at the neck.
Chest size
Measure around your bust where it is wider by placing the tape measure under the arms and over the shoulder blades.
Waist size
Measure in the hollow of the waist.
Hip size
Keep your feet together and measure the widest part.
Crotch tower
Measure the top of the crotch up to the ankle bone.
