Gope Design is a young brand that promotes local products such as bogolan, indigo and a third dye made from salt and leaves from nature called setacolor. At gope Design the products are varied such as scarves tablecloths cushions bed sheet ready to wear raw fabrics and incense. I noticed that in Mali the chemical dye caused a lot of damage. Indeed it is harmful to health because of its high potassium content. Also, there is no dedicated place for the activity and this has a considerable impact on the environment and the living space of local residents. Hence my return to natural dyeing and I form this duo with my mother who is a professional craftswoman with more than 30 years of experience in the field of artisanal dyeing.
