Monzele, which means “elegance” in Lingala, was created in the Democratic Republic of Congo with the desire to reflect elegance and boost the self-confidence of every woman.
The fabrics as well as the models are inspired by African cultures and can be worn in daily life or to events.
Alongside this collection of loincloth clothing, Aika has also published a recipe book. Congolese recipes passed down by her grandmother that Aika is used to making and that she wanted to share with her community!
Aika is convinced that the loincloth is an essential outfit for the African woman and that is why she had to combine it with African kitchen!
