Talojẹ́ is a Yoruba (Nigerian) phrase that literally means “Who are you”? It is a brand centered around the individual's freedom to evolve in their identity. Talojẹ́ grew from my frustration with the judgment and opinions of society on how I should be, act and dream with regards to my race, gender and career.
Our mission: To produce products that reflect the diversity and intersectionality of the global citizen.
When our customers wear our clothing, we want them to feel bold about embracing the different aspects of their identity, and to accept that their evolution is essential to becoming the best version of themselves. Society constantly asks the question “Who are you?” or “Ta lo jẹ́” to challenge a part of a person’s identity whenever it deviates from the norm. Your response should be: “I’m still evolving, but I’m definitely not a monolith”. Each of the outfits tells the same story but in different ways – your identity is a combination of experiences and influences and it’s ever changing.
Our collection features minimalist designs that are adapted for Western settings. The designs don’t restrict you to just African events but make the ultimate impression even at work, cocktails or at a TED talk. Talojẹ́ designs are a blend of African textiles cut to Western silhouettes, to create a sophisticated look for the socially conscious global citizen. It looks simple - but don’t be surprised if people do a double take when you step into a room.

Refunds and Exchanges
- No exchanges or refunds.
- Return shipping fees are at your charge and not refunded.
- Refunds are made on your ANKA virtual wallet. You can use the credit to buy another product or transfer the amount to your bank account.

Delivery & Shipping Policy
Once you place your order and your payment has been authorized and verified, your item will be processed for shipping. The processing and shipping time will be based on your shipping option and the country of delivery. You will receive tracking information and confirmation upon shipment in your provided email address.
*Free shipping on orders above $250CAD or $200USD.
*Shipping rates are calculated based on destination
*Shipping fees do not cover duties and taxes and are paid to the shipping carrier e.g. Canada Post or USPS. The customer is responsible for covering shipping and these are non-refundable. In addition, Talojẹ́ does not provide return shipping labels.
*A handling fee will be assessed on orders that are refused by the customer at the time of delivery or returned due to an "un-deliverable" or incomplete address.

Returns & Refunds
*Talojẹ́ does not offer refunds unfortunately. However, you will receive a store credit for use at a later time
*Store credits never expire
*To process a return or refund, please follow the instructions here to begin.
*Talojẹ́ return request must be received within 14 days of order delivery for it to be accepted.
*The item must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered and the tags must still be intact.
*The customer is responsible for covering the cost of return shipping. However, an exception will be made if there was an error with the order
*Only the cost of the item is refundable, shipping costs are not included.
*Unfortunately we do not offer exchanges because we cannot promise that the item will still be in stock by the time we receive your return. However, if there is ever a rare occurrence of this, you will be notified of this option.
*Please allow 5-10 business days for store credit to be reflected in your account.
*If you have not received your store credit after 10 business days, please contact us at [email protected] with your order number, return request ID and return tracking number.
